CueTrim is a general-purpose clipping and conversion tool. It does not give anyone permission to copy, download, adapt or distribute protected work.
Permitted use only
You may use CueTrim only for content that you own, that is in the public domain, that is covered by a valid licence or permission, or that you are otherwise legally entitled to use under applicable law.
A link being public, free to view or easy to access does not by itself grant permission to copy it. A personal, educational or non-commercial purpose is also not automatically lawful. Legal exceptions are specific and depend on the facts. If you are unsure, obtain permission from the rights holder or independent legal advice before using CueTrim.
You must also comply with the terms and access rules of the service where the source content appears.
No access-control bypass
You must not use CueTrim to bypass digital rights management, encryption, paywalls, login restrictions or other technical protection measures. CueTrim is not designed to process private, login-required or DRM-protected media.
Processing stays local
The CueTrim Engine normally handles the submitted link, temporary media and finished file on the user’s own computer. CueTrim does not normally receive or host those media files.
Limits of our control
We cannot remove source media from a third-party website or delete a file already stored on a user’s device. We can review activity involving CueTrim-controlled accounts, services and website content and take proportionate action within our control.
Misuse of CueTrim
We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe CueTrim is being used unlawfully, repeatedly or in breach of these rules, and may respond to valid court orders or other lawful requests.
Rights-holder notice requirements
For copyright concerns involving CueTrim, email greencaplimited@gmail.com. Include enough information for us to understand and assess the report:
Your full name, organisation and reliable contact details.
Identification of the protected work and the rights you say are affected.
The relevant source URL and a clear explanation of how CueTrim is involved.
Why you are the rights holder or authorised to act for the rights holder.
A good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorised by the rights holder or law, and that the information supplied is accurate.
Do not send identity documents or other sensitive personal information unless we ask for information that is genuinely necessary.
What happens after a notice
We will assess a sufficiently complete notice and may ask for clarification. Where appropriate, we may notify the affected user and allow a response before deciding what proportionate action is available to us. We may preserve limited records where reasonably necessary to handle the report or comply with law.
Incomplete, abusive, fraudulent or materially misleading notices may be rejected. Nothing in this policy decides ownership or whether a particular use is legally permitted; those questions may ultimately require agreement between the parties or a court decision.
