CueTrim Engine

Install once. Ready every time.

The engine runs quietly on your computer, listens only on this device, and keeps media processing local.

Checking this computer

Choose your computer

CueTrim releases are unsigned, so macOS or Windows may ask you to approve the installer in the operating system’s security settings.

Installed but not connected?

Downloading the installer is only the first step. Run it, finish setup, then open CueTrim Engine from the Windows Start menu or Mac Applications. In your browser’s site settings, allow “Apps on device” or “Local network access” for CueTrim. Return here and choose Check connection.

Starts automatically

Mac and Windows installers launch the engine after setup. The engine registers normal per-user startup so CueTrim is ready after future computer sign-ins.

Updates

Your installed version is compared with CueTrim’s latest official release. When a newer engine is available, the CueTrim website shows an update notice and the correct download.

Mac choice

Choose Intel for older Intel-based Macs. Choose Apple silicon for M-series Macs. Installing the wrong package will not work on the other processor type.

Linux note

The AppImage is portable. Make it executable and open it once; it then adds a per-user desktop startup entry for later sign-ins.
